Radio Daze
Meanwhile, we continue to work with radio on WHAT we cover and HOW we cover it. Getting away from the press releases and using more natural sound are the main goals. The top picture is a view of the atrium, looking down from the newsroom. Look closely and you will see the shark pond three floors down. Below is a picture of the radio newsroom.
I'm a journalist, media trainer and talent coach. I've anchored the news for KFI-AM. KTLA-TV and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, WCBS-TV in New York. I hosted a national news show for America's Talking and have reported for local stations in Chicago, Houston, Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami, West Virginia, Rhode Island and West Palm Beach. I taught broadcast journalism at USC's Annenberg School for Communication before starting my own consulting company. Now I'm a journalism educator who coaches television news anchors and reporters for TV and online video. My coaching visits will take me throughout the U.S., Canada and the world.
