Culture Shock

This may look like a typical tourist picture but what you can't see is that I'm in culture shock. I'm having trouble adjusting to the time difference and the lack of sleep only contributed to the complete sensory overload of walking the main streets of Male. This was taken in front of the produce market on a Saturday morning, as people bustled around trying to finish their errands before it got too hot to be outside. Around every corner and down each narrow, crowded street was another amazing image to be photographed. Yet, I felt too overwhelmed to reach for the camera. I'll try to give you a better look once we get settled in and begin our work at TV and radio Maldives.
