My first question about Gary's meeting with the production staff was, "Who ARE these people?" I'm used to seeing empty desks across the glass partition that divides the news and programming departments. It turns out that TVM actually has 21 producers and 17 cameramen. So why do we see nothing but the same religious programs and music videos over and over again?
Gary quickly determined that there is no actual program schedule and programs of any length are aired in any time slot, with filler to the top of the hour. Programs go on hiatus after three months and may not come back, but the people remain on the payroll.
