Everyone asks about Bob and Elaine, my colleagues from Worldwide Media who were an integral part of the first training. Because we are not training at Voice of Maldives this time, we needed a smaller team, so they are enjoying the summer back home in Chicago. TVM officials tell me Elaine's management training will be needed after the broadcasting bill is passed, reorganizing TVM and VOM as a public service broadcasting corporation. And Bob is very much with us in spirit because his handbook on election reporting has been translated into Dhivehi and will be published soon.
