Staying Connected
Giving new meaning to the word "desktop" here's a look at the tangle of wires on my desk in the hotel. Between the adapters and the chargers, it's quite a tangle to keep phones, cameras and computers up and running. But the miracle of technology lets me stay in touch with my family on the other side of the world. Here's how my husband and son looked on Skype.
I'm a journalist, media trainer and talent coach. I've anchored the news for KFI-AM. KTLA-TV and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, WCBS-TV in New York. I hosted a national news show for America's Talking and have reported for local stations in Chicago, Houston, Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami, West Virginia, Rhode Island and West Palm Beach. I taught broadcast journalism at USC's Annenberg School for Communication before starting my own consulting company. Now I'm a journalism educator who coaches television news anchors and reporters for TV and online video. My coaching visits will take me throughout the U.S., Canada and the world.
