Finally, a break in the rain on a day off. With Maldivians constantly connected to their mobile phones and Facebook it is easy to forget the island lifestyle.
Saturday morning is market day. Stalls are bursting with fresh, locally grown produce and fishermen display their fresh catch on the floor of the fish market. Then, for 80 cents, fresh breezes on the dhoni ride to the airport island, where I treated my self to lunch at the airport hotel. Now, back to work.
